Soprano Florien de la Fosse gained her master’s degree at the Codarts Rotterdam Conservatory. She made her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. This current season she appeared in several opera productions of Holland Opera. Recent highlights included a solo in a 13-minute film Geluiden van Lucht [Sounds of Air] with a new composition by Vanessa Lann.
She is a highly sought-after soloist for contemporary music and has an extensive concert repertoire which she performs regularly, including Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 and the Bach Passions. She is the founder and artistic director of the music theatre company Liedhuis that celebrates art song.
